Good morning Family Cow Tribe!

We've shared this a bit over the years... Now here's the full picture.

We built a Real-Food Network in our local community so you can Eat with Confidence in every detail, start to finish.

You want your family to eat real, clean food. Not "industrial organic." Not a label that sounds clean but hides imported grain fraud and factory shortcuts.

Here's the problem: the supermarket aisle has lost the farm connection. It seems built to confuse, not inform.

This is why we've run things differently from day one. Each year we improved another step of the process and now finally we have an entire Real-Food Network you can trust, start to finish.

One Farm Community.

Every Step.

Zero Guesswork.

We farm the land. We grow the feed. We graze the animals. We bottle the milk. We harvest the meat in our own USDA butcher shop. Then we offer these Real Farm Foods for you to enjoy.

It's clean, delicious eating at its best.

No questionable imported grain. No outsourcing the hard-to-verify parts. No middlemen to break your trust.

If we can't personally vouch for a step—we do it ourselves.

What That Means for Your Family

No Soy or Corn. No Chemicals. No GMOs. No Antibiotics. Always Regenerative. Truly Pastured. Respectfully Harvested.

These aren't just marketing checkboxes. It's a promise we can trace back to our own fields, because we manage every link in the chain.

Here's the Line to Remember

"With The Family Cow, real means real from start to finish — they farm the land, graze the animals, and harvest it themselves."

That's it. That's the whole story. Feel free to share it next time a friend asks how you know your food is pure.

P.S. It's easy to be fooled by industrial organics in the supermarket. That's why our farm is dedicated to Real Food—grown, raised, and harvested ourselves. You deserve to eat with confidence.

P.P.S. Below is a Shank family picture we took just last evening out in the field with our cows! :)

Our Chickens Move Twice a Day. Most Never Move at All.

Today I'll show what Truly Pastured means for our chickens compared to "organic" CAFO style barns with 20,000–30,000 birds in one building and only a grass strip along the edge. The problem with industrial organic chickens is that very few of these birds ever go outside... let alone eat a meaningful amount of grass. If they did go out regularly, that mass of birds would turn a small grass strip into a bare dirt mess in a matter of days.

The One Step Most "Organic" Farms Skip

We grow our own crops to avoid fraudulent imports and chemical exposure. It's the only way you can eat with confidence. Many farms skip this 'grow-your-own-crops' step because it is extremely difficult and expensive.
