Good morning Family Cow Tribe!

You may have seen the news on 300,000 tons of beef trimmings being imported tariff-free into the United States and blended with fatty domestic beef to make cheaper ground beef for everyone.

Or maybe you've seen the nationwide recall announced 9/22 for 167,639 pounds of pork, beef, and goat products that may have been already relabeled and distributed through grocery stores and restaurants nationwide.

These days you truly need to know your farmer if you want to know your food source and eat with confidence.

That's why our livestock is always raised on our farm or by a local farmer friend we know and trust. You can rest assured the animals are always Humanely Raised and Respectfully Harvested along with all our strict standards of No Chemicals, No Antibiotics, No GMOs, No Corn, No Soy, and No Citric Acid.

Above is a snapshot of our A2A2 Jersey cows grazing lush organic pasture grass to produce the raw dairy that many of you safely enjoy each week. This trust is a result of knowing our family's strong emphasis on Raw Milk Safety and the published test data from our own lab where each milk batch is tested.

From A2A2 Raw Butter, Cottage Cheese, and Cream, to our popular Raw Cheese available nationwide, to Raw Milk for local PA pickup—we have a wide range of real dairy, just as if you had your own family cow.

Aside from dairy, we also have plenty of other real foods—Pastured Pork bacon, sausage, pork chops, and ready-to-eat favorites like sliced ham and pulled pork... All raised on organic pastures and harvested at our own USDA butcher shop so we can confirm every detail of the process.

But beyond any specific food examples, this is true of every real food we offer: You know your farmer, you trust your food.

Here's the Line to Remember for this week:

"The Family Cow never sells mystery meat—every animal is raised by a farm you can actually name."

All the best of food and blessings!

Your farmer,

Wesley

Our Chickens Move Twice a Day. Most Never Move at All.

Today I'll show what Truly Pastured means for our chickens compared to "organic" CAFO style barns with 20,000–30,000 birds in one building and only a grass strip along the edge. The problem with industrial organic chickens is that very few of these birds ever go outside... let alone eat a meaningful amount of grass. If they did go out regularly, that mass of birds would turn a small grass strip into a bare dirt mess in a matter of days.

The One Step Most "Organic" Farms Skip

We grow our own crops to avoid fraudulent imports and chemical exposure. It's the only way you can eat with confidence. Many farms skip this 'grow-your-own-crops' step because it is extremely difficult and expensive.
