Pastured Pigs: Behind the Scenes on Rodrick & Jeanette's Amen Acres Farm

Good morning!
Winter set in for real on the farm last week. We got our first big snow and now the pigs are snuggling deep in their straw bedding.
But just a few weeks ago it was different.
The sun was warm, the grass was lush, and I had the perfect opportunity to do a photo/video shoot with the pastured pigs on Rodrick & Jeanette's rescued Amen Acres Farm.
Here's a quick video I shot to show how they love tearing into new grass. Listen carefully and you'll hear them munching away!

Rodrick's son, Andre, inspecting the pig's shovel nose. God obviously designed these animals for digging... Look at the ground they got piled up there!
Rooting for acorns... "First come first serve. You better hurry up!"
No matter how much grass a pig has, he will always be attracted to mud. If he doesn't roll in it he'll at least stick his nose in a bit! :)
